(Cazenovia, NY – Feb. 2013) The Madison County Volunteer Firemen’s Association will hold its annual bowling tournament, hosted by the Cazenovia Volunteer Firemen’s Ladies’ Auxiliary Saturday, Feb. 9, and Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Caz Sports Bowl, located in the Town & Country Plaza, Route 20 East, Cazenovia.
This tournament raises money for Madison County Volunteer Firefighters who are in need due to illness, burnouts, etc. All volunteer fire departments and auxiliaries are welcome to participate and are eligible for prize money, but only Madison County volunteer firefighters are eligible for money in time of need.
This tournament pays out 10 places and a High Series Game; 41 departments participated last year, and we hope to have as many or more this year. Last year’s winners were first place – Fayetteville, second place – Cazenovia, third place – DeRuyter, fourth place – Wampsville, fifth place – New Berlin Old Timers, sixth place – Chittenango, seventh place – East Syracuse, eighth place – Erieville, ninth place – DeRuyter and 10th place – Georgetown.

Raffles will be done during all shifts and 50/50 drawings will be conducted as well; come out and support your teams and enjoy a day of fun.
