(Town of Sullivan, NY – Feb. 2013) The Bridgeport Branch of the Sullivan Free Library will host a presentation on the “Paintings of Two Giants of American Watercolor” Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.

Carlton Crittenden, Jr., of the Central New York Watercolor Society, will deliver a PowerPoint presentation on the watercolors of John Singer Sargent and Winslow Homer, with commentary about their lives, influences on their work and their contributions to the art history of watercolor.

Crittenden holds a bachelor of science in art education from SUNY New Paltz and a master of science in art education from Syracuse University. He became a Signature Member of the Central New York Watercolor Society in 1999.

This event is free and open to the public.
