(Hamilton, NY – Feb. 2013) The Colgate Bookstore will host a Red Cross blood drive Saturday, Feb. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3 Utica St. Interested donors should contact Heather Elia at 315.228.6944 or helia@colgate.edu to schedule an appointment.
The Bookstore is also looking for 3 special individuals with blood types O+, O-, B- or A- to be double red cell donors at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.
Those who make appointments in advance and donate blood Feb. 16 will be entered to win one of the following:
* Dinner and a movie ($50 gift certificate to the Hamilton Inn or Colgate Inn and two movie tickets to the Hamilton Theater)
* Coffee and chocolate (one-and-a-quarter pounds of Maxwell’s chocolates and one pound of coffee from the Barge Canal Coffee Company)
* $25 Bookstore gift card
All who donate Feb. 16 will receive a coupon for 20 percent off their entire purchase at the Bookstore.
