(Town of Sullivan, NY – Feb. 2013) The SCC Girls Basketball League recently finished up the season with a playoff and championship game. Although the league only had three teams in it, the games were exciting to watch throughout the season.

The playoff game was between Team Purple and Team Black Out. The game was decided by 1 point, and it came down to the last second – a very intense finish. Team Blackout advanced to the championship game, where they squared off against the Orange Ladies. With Team Blackout already playing back-to-back games, they fought hard in the championship and both teams made it another exciting finish.

With the game only being decided by one basket, the Orange Ladies managed to win the championship game. It was a great season for the players, coaches and parents.

The Sullivan Community Council would like to thank all the volunteer coaches who helped this season. Without your dedication the league would not have been as successful as it was. We look forward to next year’s season! The team is pictured with coaches Eric Dahlin and Jeff Heller.
