(Hamilton, NY – March 2013) The Colgate Bookstore and Colgate’s Caribbean Students Association will host a “Caribbean Carnival” children’s program Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in the Class of 2003 Events Room at 3 Utica St.
The program is free and open to children of all ages and their families, but mainly geared towards ages 4 through 8.
The Caribbean Students Association invites children to learn more about carnival season in countries like Jamaica, Trinidad and the Bahamas. A story will be followed by music, circle games, a carnival craft mask and a snack.
The Colgate University chapter of the Caribbean Students Association strives to represent the variety of social, political and cultural aspects of life in the Caribbean and to avail the community of the learning experience produced by such representation.
