(Oneida, NY – April 2013) On Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., April 23, librarian Michele Ryan provides a show and tell workshop on getting the most out of your new Kindle Fire tablet.
Amazon’s Kindle Fire offers the possibilities of downloading films as well as books, web access and a host of surprising apps. Ryan will provide an overview of the Kindle’s operation and uses and show how to download free ebooks from the Mid-York’s MYlibrary2go as well as apps. She will also show how Kindle Fire can serve as a web browser and social network device.
The workshop is free and open to the public. To get the most out of it, participants should bring along their own Kindle Fires so they can practice new applications.
