(Chittenango, NY- April 2013) See History Come ‘Alive’ at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum, 717 Lakeport Road, Chittenango, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
Step back into the 1880s, and you may meet a boat captain, visit the storekeeper, talk with the mule barn caretaker, learn from the sawyer, watch the blacksmith, meet a hoggee or play with children and chat with townspeople.
Free admission; light refreshments will be available and the gift shop will be open. This is part of the celebration for “I Love My Park Day” (ptny.org).
