(Hamilton, NY – May 2013) We have recently added several new graphic novels to our collection! Captain Underpants fans are sure to enjoy The Adventures of Ook and Gluk: Kung-fu Cavemen from the Future.
If you can’t get enough Greek mythology, check out Hades: Lord of the Dead or Hera: the Goddess and Her Glory.
Budding detectives will want to put their non-fiction know-how to the test with The Summer Camp Science Mysteries series; we now have mysteries about light and matter.
The Friends Group of the Hamilton Public Library is working to obtain non-profit status. If you are a certified public accountant who is willing and able to help with this process, please call the library with your contact information. We would love to have a local professional help with this process.
Sign your child up to receive a free book each month! The library is beginning to host the Dolly Parton Imagination Library locally. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers under age 5 are eligible to enroll if they live within the Hamilton Central School District.
Stop by our kick-off event Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to noon to find out more about the program and to enroll. The kick-off event will also feature entertainment by local storytellers, children’s crafts and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.
We hope you’ll join us!
