Spring sports in Chittenango are in full bloom this month as runners for the girls and boys teams officially end April with the annual Chittenango Invite featuring an estimated 50 teams.

The highlight of the Bears varsity baseball season thus far was watching shortstop Sean Cliff scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a come-from-behind victory against rival Canastota. Well-attended, and one could almost smell the smoke, popcorn and hot dogs of another era. Great game!
