Softball
(Chittenango) Alexa Farsaci takes down a fly ball to centerfield last week in the first game of a double header featuring a 1 hit shutout by Mallorie Mohorter(not shown). The Lady Bears split the twin bill winning the first 8-0 before falling 4-0 in the second.
Golf
Mackenzie Millick drops one in for Chittenango last week as the Lady Bears took both matches against Westhill and Marcellus improving their record to 3-4 overall and a shot at upcoming sectional play.
Lacrosse – Girls
Gabby Loftus scoops up the ball for Chittenango in a game against Skaneateles. The Lady Bears, though improving in many areas, are still seeking that first victory while laying a foundation of spirit and determination for the younger team members.
Tennis – Boys
Doubles player Scott Barret serves in a match against Marcellus Tuesday. The boys had a busy week with four matches and have three more this coming week to conclude an “experience building” season.
Baseball
Bears third baseman Ryan Malloy takes a throw in an attempt to pick off an advancing Oneida runner Monday against Oneida who won 7-5. After being shutout by Westhill Thursday 13-0 Chittenango lost another close game to ESM Saturday 6-5 in extra innings.
Track
Junior Anna Galbraith placed third at the Oneida Invite Friday in the girls 3000 meter run while young freshman Krissy Roberts leaps 29-5.25 in the triple jump good for 14th out of a field of 29. Freshman Dominque Jackson attempts the high jump while on the boys side Freshman Tyler Howard nukes the pit on a long jump.
