Community Resources for Independent Seniors
(Cazenovia, NY – May 2013) To celebrate Older Americans Month, CRIS-Health and Wellness Fair will be held May 22 (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CRIS Office, 101 Nelson St., (next to McDonald’s).
This free event, sponsored by CRIS, will offer valuable health information, demonstrations and participation in ways to improve health and wellness. It will be a valuable and fun opportunity to learn from experienced members of our community about fitness, dance, Zumba, ballroom dancing, meditation and aging issues.
There will be healthy snacks, free samples and door prizes!

There will be Tai Chi, the graceful “meditation in motion,” happening throughout the event. With weather permitting, all will be invited to join in outdoors. Tai Chi is a gentle way to reduce stress and anxiety and maintain strength and balance.
Other participants of the Health and Wellness Fair will be Madison County Dept. of Health, Madison County Dept. for the Aging, CASA, Kidney Foundation of CNY, American Legion Post 88, Medicate-United Healthcare, Chobani Yogurt and Tops Market.
