(Oneida, NY – May 2013) A benefit has been planned for Vicky Barker Arnold, a “Gold Star Mom” who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
The benefit will be held June 8 at 1 p.m. at the Oneida American Legion.
The cost for adults to attend is $15, children 6 to 17 years old pay $5 and children younger than 5 enter free.
Food and music provided, raffles and a 50/50 drawing will take place.

A “Gold Star Mom” is a mother who has lost a child in the service of our country. Arnold is the mother of LCPL Jeremy S. Lasher who was KIA on Thursday July 23, 2009 in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.
