To the Editor:
(Chittenango, NY) On April 15, Delphia’s Restaurant hosted a chicken fricassee dinner to benefit Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum. Guests raved about the delicious home-style meal and the prompt and caring service provided by Delphia’s owners and staff.
Volunteers from the museum were present to help clear and set up tables for the many diners who attended this fundraising event.
CLCBM receives no government support for daily operations but relies on admissions, memberships and the generosity of the community. CLCBM is grateful to Ted Fields, Polly and their staff for their kind support and wonderful food.
Coming up on June 16 is the museum’s annual “Canal Fest.” It starts at noon and runs until 5 p.m. This year’s theme is “Pirates on the Erie,” and there will be activities and fun for all ages.
