(Canastota, NY – June 2013) Madison County’s Health Department and Sheriff’s Office are partnering with the NYS Police to hold a Car Seat Check June 20 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Tops Friendly Market in Canastota.
Studies show that 9 out of 10 car seats are not installed correctly, so please take this opportunity to make sure your child’s car seat is as safe as possible.
I went to the Car Seat Check @ Tops held in Canastota today (June 20) and there was nobody there. I then went to Zem’s Ice Cream for the Bike Helmet Giveaway and was told by a woman in a purple shirt that the Car Seat Check @ Tops was not until June 27th. There were no helmet’s for toddlers and no example to compare as to what I should buy. A total waste of time. Ugh.
