Cazenovia library new(Cazenovia, NY- June 2013) All are invited to join “Story Time in the Story Garden” summer fun at the Cazenovia Public Library.

Nursery rhymes bring joy to children of all ages and that’s what “Baby Story Time” with Betsy Kennedy is all about.  Newborns to children 24 months old with their parents/caregivers are invited to continue meeting on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. every week all summer.  Siblings are welcome.

Deanna Frink, a recent Cazenovia College graduate, is calling all children ages 2 to 4 and their parents/caregivers to the Story Garden for “Toddler and Preschool Story Time” on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:15 a.m. from June 26 to Aug. 16.

As a four-year member of the Cazenovia College Dance Team, Deanna will use her dance experience to incorporate movement, including Yoga, with stories and songs. The children will love getting out of their seats and becoming actively involved.

Jenna Wright, the Summer Reading Program Coordinator, will also conduct “Pajama Story Time” for preschoolers with their parents/caregivers at 7 p.m. on Thursdays from June 27 to Aug. 15. Children are invited to come to the Story Garden in their jammies with a favorite stuffed animal to cuddle and enjoy some songs and bedtime stories.

Come on in and enjoy the fun that prepares children for school, both socially and academically, while giving parents the necessary background in child development that will help them guide their children towards becoming lifelong readers.
