Michelle Forward(Morrisville, NY – July 2013) A big thank you goes out to Professor William Snyder for hosting his free Tai Chi Chuan classes at the library since September. If you did not have a chance to make his classes, he will be resuming them on Monday nights again in September.

Our summer reading program is almost here. The theme this year is “Dig Into Reading.” Be sure to stop in and sign up starting the week of July 8. It runs until Friday, Aug. 16. We are also having an adult summer reading program again this year, too, so anyone from ages 1 on can have fun with us this summer. Hope to see you.

Join us Wednesday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m., as we create this year’s summer reading mural. Supplies will be provided; just need all young and old talent to come and create.

Our annual book sale will be Friday, July 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 13, from 9 to 2 p.m. Lots of great deals. Get some great reads for the summer ahead. Book Sale will be held in the Library’s program room.

We will be “digging into gardening” Wednesday, July 17, at 6:30 p.m. Come join us as we have fun with gardening. We will be making our own goofy grass heads to take home, as well as doing lots of other fun things, too.

We will no longer be open on Saturdays during the summer. Please mark your calendars and make sure you get here by Friday to get something to read or watch.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the summer.

Michelle Rounds is library manager for the Morrisville Public Library. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
