Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District grazing expert Troy Bishopp, also known as the ‘Grass Whisperer,’ a regular contributor to the Courier’s agriculture pages, was a first-place photo contest winner selected by the National Association of Conservation Districts in the close-up conservation category for his picture of a cover crop no-tilled into a corn field.
