(Town of Madison, NY- July 11, 2013) A group of Madison residents has announced the formation of an independent party in the town of Madison they say will be dedicated to the open and responsive representation of all residents.

The Committee has adopted the name Madison Unity, reflecting its desire to unify the residents of the town of Madison, regardless of party affiliation.  Its candidates are David Sonn for supervisor and Joe Koen and David Jordan for town council. Organizers say they hope to fill what they see as a vacuum and provide leadership that will utilize the varied assets of the town to enhance the quality of life for all interests in the town.

A vote for the Madison Unity is a vote for a future for the town of Madison, they say.
