(Sherburne, NY – Aug. 2013) The Chenango Bird Club presents Butterflies of Chenango County on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at Rogers Environmental Education Center’s Bird Cabin.
Rick Bunting, avid naturalist and photographer, will present the program. Rick’s photos are taken mostly in the Bainbridge area but are likely found throughout Central New York and so are likely in your yard also. Rick has presented many times to the Chenango Bird Club and his programs are always entertaining and interesting. His photographs are spectacular and everyone interested in butterflies is in for a treat.
The Chenango Bird Club will conduct a short business meeting at 6:30, before Rick’s presentation. Refreshments will be served after Rick’s presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend all or part of the evening’s activities.
The Chenango Bird Club presents monthly programs (except January, February, and March). Nature enthusiasts of all levels and interests are invited to all Chenango Bird Club programs, free of charge.
Rogers Center is located one mile west of Sherburne Village on State Highway 80. Park in the main parking lot and walk to the west end of the lot to the Bird Exhibit Cabin.
