(Morrisville, NY – Sept. 2013) Join us for Video Game Night Friday Sept. 6 at 6:30pm. Bring your handheld gaming system (DS, 3DS, or any other) OR come and play on our WII gaming system. Play against other gaming enthusiasts! Please make sure any games you bring have your name on them. Feel free to bring a nutritious snack to share!
Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will resume again on Mondays starting Sept. 9 at 6:30pm. Come join instructor Bill Snyder. Open to all teens and adults. If you can’t make it that day, he will be here again on Sept. 16.
Join Sue Greenhagen, Village and Town Historian, for her first of 3 different historical talks on Friday September 13 at 6:30pm. The first one is a history of the most notorious 19thcentury crime family in central New York, The Loomis Gang. Special guest-Sheriff Bonney. Join us next month for her second talk on the Graveyards of Madison County.
Fall is the perfect time to settle in with a good book. Join us for our book talk on Wednesday Sept. 18 at 6:30pm. We will be talking about Marian Keyes’ book, Last Chance Saloon. Copies are available now.
International Talk Like A Pirate Day is Sept. 19, so join us a day later on Friday Sept. 20 at 6:30pm and celebrate with us! Wear your pirate garb, or something a pirate would wear or carry and have a chance to win a prize! Lots of games and fun things be had so come on mateys and join us! AAARRRRGGGHHH!
The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday Sept. 19 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
We are open again on Saturdays until next spring! We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
