(Madison County, NY – Sept. 2013) The 2013 Republican candidates attended a picnic recently in Canastota.
Sept. 10 Primary candidates are:
Cliff Moses, a candidate for the Town of Eaton Supervisor. He is a long-time resident and public school administrator, managing budgets of $75 million with a focus on protecting taxpayers;
Joe Pinard for Town of Lenox Supervisor, a management professional in the US Air Force & Diemolding with over 35 years’ experience in diverse management positions and a BA in Human Resource Management;
John Pinard, for Town of Lenox Councilman, a Canastota resident and community supporter with experience at Diemolding and a small business owner. Presently, he is an operations/account manager and believes in building the community by fiscal responsibility, hard work, and family values.
Doug Simmons is a candidate for the Town of Lenox Highway Superintendent with 10 years of heavy road construction experience, snow plowing, and over 20 years owning an excavation company for commercial, residential and farm contracting. He is a member of the Wampsville Volunteer Fire Department and community supporter.
Please vote for the following candidates on Nov. 5, 2013:
Eugene Faughnan from Binghamton for State Supreme Court Justice, 6th Judicial District. He has been a practicing attorney concentrating on labor and disability benefits law and is committed to the principles of adherence to the law and respect for all who appear before the bench.
Denise Roe is candidate for Madison County Clerk. She has served as Deputy Madison County Clerk for the past 8 years and has over 30 years’ experience in supervisory, records/information management, financial & business administration, grants development, and archival expertise. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration degree from Marist College and has been instrumental in leading several initiatives in the Clerk’s office and DMV to better serve the public.
Thomas Kopp is a returning candidate for Town of Sullivan. He owned and operated Kopp’s Canteen Restaurant in Chittenango for many years and is well known for supporting the Township of Sullivan’s communities.
Michael Kaiser is candidate for Madison County Supervisor for Oneida Wards 4/5/6, previously elected to the City of Oneida Common Council representing Ward 4 until moving to Ward 5. Long-time Oneida resident, Kaiser is an Air Force veteran and NY State Police. He is currently serving the City of Oneida on the Sign Review Board, Traffic Safety Board and served on the City Manager/Charter Review Committee.
John Button would like to thank the voters of the Town of Sullivan for allowing him to serve five terms as Town of Sullivan Justice and hopes to continue in the office for many years. He has a long list of service and accomplishments including Town Councilman, public school teacher and administrator, business owner. He holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Communication from Syracuse University.
All candidates are anxious to serve Madison County’s constituents in the most effectively, team-based, experienced and financially prudent way. All Republican candidates were invited to share their expertise with our committee.
