(Oneida, NY – Sept. 2013) Starting Tuesday, Sept. 10, Oneida Public Library’s preoneida-public-libraryschool programs conducted by Librarian Michele Ryan will resume their regular school-year schedule.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Ryan offers Ready To Read, an early-literacy program of stories, songs, crafts and activities for children from birth through 2 years of age and their parents or guardians.

On Thursdays at 10 a.m., Ryan offers 3- to 5-year olds and their parents a story hour called Ready, Set, Read, which is designed to develop pre-reading skills and prepare children for school.

The programs are free and open to all. For more information, stop by the Oneida Library, 220 Broad St., or call 363-3050.
