Adobe Photoshop PDF(Earlville, NY – Sept. 2013) The Claire Lynch Band brings their award-winning bluegrass to the historic Opera House main stage on Saturday, Oct, 5 at 8 p.m.

Claire Lynch’s “sterling, silvery vocal presence” has garnered her two Grammy nominations.  The rest of her band is just as talented. Jason Thomas is a champion fiddle and mandolin player. Matt Wingate has garnered the title of MerleFest Doc Watson Guitar Champion; and Mark Schatz has two IBMA Bass Player of the Year awards.

The band is touring in support of their new CD, Dear Sister –nominated for an Album of the Year Award.

The Opera House was hit by lightning on July 17, 2010 in the middle of the Claire Lynch performance.  The lightning took out much of the lighting system and the sound system and subsequent repairs cost over $5000.  The repairs were covered in part by insurance and in part by a grant from the Golub Foundation.
