(Town of Lebanon, NY – Sept. 2013) I am pleased to announce an opportunity to meet and greet the two candidates running for Town Board in Lebanon this November on the Democratic Party line this Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 from 10 am to noon at the Lebanon Community Club on Lebanon Road at the old train depot.
Ron Jones of Billings Hill Road and Patty Matson of Lake Craine Road will be present to answer your questions and address any concerns you have about the future direction of the Town Board of Lebanon. Ron is also running on an independent ballot line.
Everyone is welcome and free refreshments will be available.
I would encourage all residents to attend and encourage their friends, relatives and neighbors to do so and ask these candidates their positions on issues currently facing the town board including the proposed Lebanon Road Use Law, expansion of Time Warner Cable Services, tax and budget issues, comprehensive plan recommendations, code enforcement, community and economic development, agriculture and natural gas development issues in the township.
These types of opportunities are some of the best ways to discuss your concerns and find out where the candidates stand on issues that matter to you in local government.
Hope to see you there.
Jim Goldstein, Lebanon Supervisor
