(Morrisville, NY – Oct. 28, 2013) The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office announced this morning the pairings for the 2013 men’s soccer conference championship tournament, selecting Morrisville State College as the third of four teams in the tourney.
SUNYIT, the regular season champions, will host the tournament. Penn St.-Abington is the second seed, and Cazenovia the fourth.
Morrisville State enters the tournament as the defending conference tourney champions, completing the 2013 regular season with a 10-5-2 overall record, going 5-2-1 in conference play.
SUNYIT and Abington were the lone teams to hand the Mustangs a loss in conference play, both by 1-0 decisions.
Morrisville State will face Penn St.-Abington on Saturday, Nov. 9 in the semi-final round scheduled for 2 p.m.
