oneida-public-library(Oneida, NY – Nov. 2013) David Muth of Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency comes to Oneida Public Library to talk about no-cost conservation methods for reducing home fuel costs and to hand out free energy-efficient light bulbs to workshop participants on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The MVCAA workshop is in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension as part of the EmPower New York Program, which provides free energy assessment and improvements to income-eligible homeowners. Funding comes from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.

The workshop is free, but advanced registration is required.

OPL closed Veterans Day

The Oneida Public Library will be closed Monday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day. It will be open as usual on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
