(Oneida, NY – Nov. 2013) Get into the holiday spirit by registering for the Madison County Historical Society’s make-your-own Holiday Heritage Handicraft Victorian Ornament workshop on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the historical society.
There are two workshops, one for children between the ages of 7-9 and the other for adults. Enjoy creating lasting memories by making your very own handmade Victorian style ornaments.
The adult workshop is $25 and the children’s workshop is $10. Ribbons, Victorian “scrap,” colored embossed paper, tinsel, colored paper, cotton batting and other supplies will be available to use.
Reservations are required for both workshops as space is limited to 12 per workshop. Pamela Vogan Lynch, a professional artist and retired Director of Art for the Oneida City School District will be the instructor for the adult craft workshop.
Holiday refreshments will be offered. The deadline to register is Nov. 15.
