(Morrisville, NY – Nov. 6, 2013) The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2013 Women’s Volleyball All-Conference selections, naming Morrisville State College’s freshman outside hitter, Brandy Ehrenschneider (Olmsted Falls, Ohio) to its second team.
Ehrenschneider led Morrisville State in the attack game, throwing down 159 kills on the year, reaching double figures seven times in her inaugural collegiate season, recording a collegiate high 15 against Cobleskill, while posting additional season highs of four service aces against St. Elizabeth, 16 defensive digs against Cobleskill, and three assisted blocks against SUNYIT.
She averaged 2.09 kills per set, ranking 16th overall in the conference, 1.93 digs per set, and 0.34 aces per set. She ranks 22nd in kills (159) overall, and is 12th in hitting percentage (.225), while boasting 2.6 points per set (ranking 16th overall).
The freshman is a graduate of Olmsted Falls High and is majoring in architectural studies and design at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Nancy Ehrenschneider and Robert Makowski of Olmsted Falls.
