(Oneida, NY – Nov. 8, 2013) The Oneida City Madison County Long Term Recovery Group is excited to announce that members of Team Rubicon will be dedicating Veteran’s Day of Service to serving victims of the June 2013 Flood.
They will be serving in Oneida at 109 Stoddard St. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams to disaster areas.

The team has served abroad in Haiti, Chile, Burma, and Pakistan and here at home in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Oklahoma Tornadoes, and most recently in Colorado.
The OCMC LTRG has knit together faith communities, government agencies, not for profit service organizations, businesses and volunteers in a coordinated effort to overcome the effects of the June 28, 2013 flood by serving the unmet needs of the city of Oneida and surrounding areas and Madison County. “We seek to assess the needs, restore what can be restored, and overcome what cannot.”
