(Morrisville, NY – Nov. 2013) The winner of the first Concrete leaf decoration was Emily Rounds of Chittenango. Congratulations. If you never got a chance to enter this raffle, we will be doing another in the spring.
Join us this Friday Nov. 15 at 6:30pm as we have a birthday party for Mickey Mouse. Play some games, read some stories, eat birthday cake and see some of Mickey’s classic short tales.
Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will meet again on Monday Nov. 18 at 6:30pm. Come join instructor Bill Snyder. Open to all teens and adults. If you can’t make it that day, he will be here again on Nov. 25.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 9:30am. Bring the little ones and help us have fun hearing stories about turkeys and make one to take home. If you can’t make that day, join us on Tuesday Nov. 26 for books that we are thankful for.
We are having a book talk on Wednesday Nov. 20 at 6:30pm. The book being read is John Irving’s Cider House Rules. Copies can be picked up now.
Our lunch time book talk is Friday Nov. 22 at 1:00pm. The book being discussed is Nancy Horan’s Loving Frank. Copies are available now.
Join us as we show the movie, Monster’s University on Friday Nov. 22 at 6:00pm. We will provide the popcorn. Bring the family in.
The Utica Zoomobile will be here on Wednesday Nov. 27 at 1:00pm. Come see, touch and learn about some animals. Fun for the entire family.
The Library Board of Trustees meets on Thursday Nov. 21 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
We will be closed Thursday Nov. 28 through Sunday December 1 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
