Students Earn Degrees

The following students were recently awarded a degree from Binghamton University.

Kathryn E Hollerbush from Kirkville was awarded a Master’s of Science degree in Student Affairs Administration from the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University.

William Brunton Craine from Sherburne was awarded a Master’s of Science degree in Accounting from the School of Management at Binghamton University.

Daniela Mancuso from Chittenango was awarded a Masters in Busines Administration degree in Executive Masters in Business Administration Corporate Track from the School of Management at Binghamton University.

Lauren Michelle Huie from Oneida was awarded a PHD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University.

Thomas M Frangione from Cazenovia was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Spec in Financial Economics from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Melissa Rose Wiehenstroer from Chittenango was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Stephen Michael Ceresoli from Chittenango was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University.

Lisa Michelle Nelson from Oneida was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering SUNY IT from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University.

Students Receive Scholarships at Clarkson University

The following local students received scholarships at Clarkson University during the 2013-2014 academic year:

Stacia Valik of Cazenovia, a freshman majoring in engineering & management, received the MK Woods ’82 Endowed Scholarship.

Lukas Reynolds of Earlville, a freshman majoring in mathematics, received the Theodore Sr. and Wanda McWharf Endowed Scholarship.

Sean Shea of Chittenango, a junior majoring in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering, received the Richard and Gina Weniger Memorial Endowed Scholarship.

Alexandra Cameron of Cazenovia, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, received the Azote, Inc. Endowed Scholarship and the Nancy E. and James F. ’64 Wood Endowed Scholarship.

Jordan Yagoda of Oneida, a senior majoring in chemical engineeringand mathematics, received the A. Douglas Burrow ’31 Endowed Scholarship.

Jason Cocca of Chittenango, a senior majoring in aeronautical engineeringand mechanical engineering, received the NewPage Corporation Sponsored Scholarship.

Michael Tornatore III of Canastota,  a senior majoring in innovation & entrepreneurship, received the Toole-O’Donnell Families and MWV Endowed Scholarship.

Bruce Gondeck of Bridgeport, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the John J. Bero Sr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship.

Logan Carsten of Eaton, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Class of 1947 Endowed Scholarship and the Stephen C. Redding ’63 Memorial Endowed Scholarship.

Fitzgerald Studying Abroad

Saint Michael’s College student Christine Fitzgerald, daughter of Diana and James Fitzgerald of Kirkville, is studying abroad in Cork, Ireland at Cork College University for the fall 2013 semester. Fitzgerald, a junior music and psychology double major graduated from Chittenango High School before coming to Saint Michael’s.

Students Inducted into Honor Society at Ithaca College

158 students were inducted into the Ithaca College Oracle Honor Society on Nov. 4.
