(Lancaster, Pa. – Dec. 7, 2013) Host Lancaster Bible College men’s basketball posted a comeback North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) winSaturday afternoon, edging visiting Morrisville State College 59-57 in Lancaster.
The loss is the second for the Mustangs in conference play (2-2), dropping to 4-4 overall on the season.
Jordan Prior (Cortland, N.Y.) led Morrisville State’s efforts with 18 points, adding six rebounds and three assists to his tallies, while teammate Tom Wilk (Cortland, N.Y.) also posted double figures, netting 11 while snagging six boards.
Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, N.Y.) posted a team high four assists adding two steals, while Caleb Wright (Cortland, N.Y.) registered eight rebounds.
CJ Dunston led the Chargers with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while teammate Albert Suniga had 12 points. Naheer Mirza dished out a team best seven assists.
Morrisville State led 25-23 at the half, before the Chargers put together a 50% shooting effort from the floor in the second half to topple the Mustangs in the second period for the win.
The Mustangs return to action Tuesday, traveling to Hamilton College.
