(Oneida, NY) Hazem Qalla, MD, FACOG has joined Women’s Health Associates of Oneida in the practice of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Qalla received his medical training at Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, W.I. He completed his OB/GYN surgical training, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, at New York Methodist Hospital and Drexel University School of Medicine.
Qalla also served as Clinical Assistant Professor and full time faculty member at SUNY Downstate Medical Center/Hospital University of Brooklyn, where he continued to refine his minimally invasive surgical skills, while also developing his robotic surgery technique.
He will be joining Oneida Healthcare’s da Vinci robotic surgery team. Qalla is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and strives to care for his patients with the highest level of modesty, integrity and compassion.
Qalla joins Drs. James Pfeiff, Mehri Delpino and Krislyn Flint as part of the growing number of providers and services within Oneida Healthcare’s “Circle of Care.”
Women’s Health Associates provides a full complement of OB/GYN services, including incontinence therapy, and is the only office in the area to provide minimally invasive hysterectomy; first trimester fetal screening; and on-site imaging, including mammograms, MRI, bone density & ultrasound with 3D capability.
