(Canastota, NY – Jan. 14, 2014) On Dec. 19 the Madison County Retired Teachers held its annual Christmas luncheon at the Rusty Rail in Canastota. Two scholarships were awarded to college juniors pursuing a career in education.
Daniel Margo, a graduate of Oneida High School is majoring in Adolescent Education-Social Studies at SUNY Cortland. He is the son of Peg and John Margo of Oneida.
Marriah Gough is a graduate of Stockbridge Valley Central School and is attending Keuka College. She is majoring in Unified Early Childhood Education-Special Education. Marriah is the daughter of Linda and Michael Gough of Oneida.
