- PROPOSED LEASE AGREEMENT: Receive and place on file a proposed Lease Agreement by and between the City of Oneida and the Greater Oneida Civic Center, Inc. and consider authorizing the Mayor to execute said Lease Agreement. (E. Smith)
- MONTHLY REPORTS: Receive and place on file monthly reports from the Chamberlain, City Clerk, Comptroller, City Engineer, Director of Planning and Development, Fire Chief, Police Chief, and Recreation Department.
- PROPOSED LOCAL LAW: Receive and place on file a proposed Local Law amending Chapter 17 of the City Code to regulate the keeping of animals within the City and schedule a public hearing for February 4, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, 109 N. Main St. Oneida. (Meeker/Bell)
- BUDGET TRANSFER: Approve a budget transfer from Contingency to Other Expense-Mayor in the amount of $1,000. (Mayor)
- WATER FUND TRANSFER: Authorize a transfer of $92,190.37 from the Water Fund to the Water Reserve Fund. (Smolinski)
- ADVERTISE FOR BIDS: Authorize the purchasing agent to advertise for bids for water meters for 2014. (Smolinski).
- REVOLVING LOAN FUND: Authorize the use of funds from the Oneida Revolving Loan Fund to extend public infrastructure to create a shovel-ready site for business development on West Elm Street. (Rose)
- AGREEMENT: Authorize the Mayor to sign the annual agreement with Industrial Medical Associates, P.C., Syracuse NY for substance abuse testing. (Margo)
- SURPLUS ITEMS: Authorize the disposal of various sized “leaded” brass fittings in the most cost effective way. (Pease)
- CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY: Approve the conveyance of real property situated at 5922 Peterboro Road, Oneida, Tax Map No. 55.-1-46 in consideration for the costs to demolish the dilapidated structure that existed on the property and authorize the City Attorney to prepare any and all documents for the Mayor’s execution. - FLOOD RELATED REIMBURSEMENTS: Authorize that City employees at the DPW, WWTP and Water Department who suffered the loss of personal work related clothing caused by the Flood Event on June 28, 2013 be allowed up to $150.00 each towards the replacement of said clothing. (Chamberlain)
- BUDGET TRANSFERS: Approve budget transfers to consolidate DPW budgetary accounts. (Rauscher/Pease)
- TASK AUTHORIZATION: Authorize the Acting Mayor to sign the yearly Task Authorization with O’Brien and Gere Operations, LLC to assist the WWTP operators with laboratory and process control support on an as needed basis. (Rauscher)
- BUDGET TRANSFERS: Authorize budget transfers to create a new “Short Shift Staffing” expense line in the Fire Dept and to transfer funds into the equipment line for the purchase of a used vehicle for the Fire Chief. (Salerno)
- AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSE: Approve the Amusement Device License Application from Nichols Vending, Inc. (Pulverenti)
- REAPPOINTMENTS: Authorize the reappointments of Jason Earl and Lisa Coakley to the Recreation Commission. (Mayor)
NEW BUSINESS
