(Remsen, NY – Feb. 2, 2014) – On Feb. 2 the New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative compliance check of local establishments in Oneida County. As part of the initiative 17 establishments serving or selling alcohol within this area were checked for their compliance with the laws of the State of New York, relative to prohibiting sales of alcohol to persons under the age of twenty-one.
As a result of the operation the following was charged with one count of first-degree Unlawfully Dealing with a Child and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage under the Alcohol Beverage Control law:
