(Oneida, NY – March 2014) March is Developmental Disabilities Month and in recognition Oneida Savings Bank and Madison Cortland ARC have joined together to feature a photography exhibit. The photographs are works created by people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities under the direction of professional photographer and volunteer Jim Cooke.
“You have to teach people technique, principles and rules that they can practice” said Jim Cooke, “that allows inspiration to come out.”
Janice Buneo, Public Relations Coordinator for Madison Cortland ARC and Tiffany Klein, Oneida Savings Bank Manager, have been working together on the exhibit.
“Once the final pieces are all gathered together and displayed side by side, they become an art show. ARC ART at its finest” said Buneo.
“We at Oneida Savings Bank are honored to display these works of art and are excited to be able to share with the customers and the community!”said Klein.
The ARC photography exhibit will be on display during the month of March in the lobby of the Oneida Savings Bank, 182 Main St., Oneida Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm and at the Oneida Savings Bank Convenience Office at 585 Main St., Oneida Monday thru Wednesday 9am-3pm, Thursday and Friday 9am – 6pm.
