(Morrisville, NY – March 12, 2014) The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2013 fall academic awards, naming Morrisville State College field hockey student-athletes Abby Hastings (Morrisville, N.Y.), Avanti Johnson (Parsippany, N.J.) and Meagan Mack (Endicott, N.Y.) to its All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for SUNYAC All-Academic team recognition the nominated student-athlete must have a fall semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher while participating in a conference sponsored sport.
“I’m proud of the work these young ladies have put in to their academic programs to be successful,” said head coach Becky Osier. “It’s a true testament to the quality of student-athletes we have not just in the field hockey program but at Morrisville State College as well.”
