Hamilton Public Library News
By Hilary Virgil, Library Director
(Hamilton, NY – April 22, 2014) Does your non-profit organization provide services free of charge to the public? Would you like to work together with other area organizations to help network, share information, and generate referral systems for the public? The Hamilton Public Library and Madison County Reads Ahead are working together to host a Community Outreach Forum on Thursday, May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the library.
This forum is a first-time opportunity for local non-profit organizations who handle services for the public to get together and network. Many organizations want to broaden their reach to their clientele. This gathering will give us the information needed so we can share our many services with the people we come in contact with throughout respective organizations. Attendees should plan to describe what your group does, exchange business cards, and network with each other to find ways to best market our services as a cohesive group.
This forum is open to all non-profits who service an area within 15 miles of the village of Hamilton. If planning to attend, please bring your business cards.
Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
For our planning purposes, please RSVP to either Hilary Virgil at the Hamilton Public Library (824-3060; hvirgil@midyork.org) or to Tara Truett at (345-1468; ttruett@midyork.org).
