(Canastota, NY – April 2014) An Ideal Cut Glass Company show, featuring 10 exhibitors and the Canastota Canal Town Museum’s exhibit will take place May 3 at the museum and the Education Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both places are located on Canal Street in downtown Canastota.

The event also features the The History and Making of Ideal Cut Glass at the Bee Man Candle Co. and a tour with tasting room at The Erie Canal Brewery Co.

cut glass punch bowlPresentations take place every 30 minutes at the museum. Pre-sale tickets are available at the library, village hall and town hall for $4. Tickets sell for $5 at the door.

At the Bee Man Candle Co., located at 135 Peterboro St. a presentation on History of Bees & Beexwax in Canastota Industry will be held at 10:30 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m. Then The History and Making of Ideal Cut Glass takes place at 11:30 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.

Present ticket for a 10 percent discount at all three places.
