(Chittenango, NY – May 2014) Letter carriers collected food for the Sullivan Food Cupboard Saturday May 11. It was the most successful drive in recent memory.
The post office estimated 3,200 pounds of food was collected.
Volunteers stacked and unloaded the postal delivery vehicles and stored the food at the cupboard.
The cupboard thanks the post office delivery personnel and the residents of the postal code 13037 for this outpouring of generosity to those in need in the town of Sullivan.
