(Oneida, NY – June 2014) After a phenomenal season Shannon Dowling of Oneida was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association First Team All-American, as announced last week.
Dowling was an offensive workhorse all season, leading the Roos in a number of statistical categories including: batting average (.392), hits (29), doubles (7), triples (2), home runs (2), RBIs (20), total bases (46), slugging percentage (.622) and on-base percentage (.451).
Defensively she had 61 put outs and 20 assists with a .953 fielding percentage.
