Madison County’s Alternate Dairy Princess Alanna Parker and Dairy Princess Erica Reale offer a gift bag of dairy goodies to Joanne and Michael Lalonde and their newborn daughter Victoria Grace Lalonde.
(Oneida, NY – June 2014) June is National Dairy Month, and what better way to celebrate than to shower June’s first baby with gifts?
Madison County’s Dairy Princess and Alternate did exactly that at the Oneida Healthcare Center, whose first 2014 June baby is Victoria Grace Lalonde.
Victoria Grace weighed in at 7 pounds and10 ounces. Her 1:06 a.m. arrival time was very punctual for her June 1 due date.
The proud first-time parents are Joanne and Michael Lalonde of Lee. The Lalondes received a visit from Madison County Dairy Princess Erica Reale and Alternate Dairy Princess Alanna Parker at 2:30 p.m. that day. The princesses presented the family with a gift bag filled with recipes, Byrne flavored milks, Chobani yogurt, Cabot cheese, Polly-O cheese sticks, cow bib, cow onesie; and the princesses’ reminder to consume 3 servings a day of milk, cheese, or yogurt for healthy muscles, bones, and teeth.
2014 is the thirteenth year in which the Madison County Dairy Princess has presented Oneida Healthcare’s first June baby with gifts. Done on behalf of Madison County’s dairy farmers, the gifts celebrate the importance of dairy products in a healthy diet for mothers and children.
