(Morrisville) Join us at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, for our Teen/Adult Movie Night. We will be showing the movie, Divergent. We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage. The library closes at 8 p.m., so if you have library business to attend to, come early as the movie doesn’t end until 9:30 p.m. NOTE: This movie is PG-13, so we will NOT let anyone under the age of 13 view the movie without a parent/guardian.

Tai Chi Chuan Class is back for another year; join Morrisville State College Professor Bill Snyder as he facilitates 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Best part: it’s free. If you can’t make this day, they meet again Monday, Sept. 15, too.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, come hear the “Favorite Stories of Madison County Railroaders & Railroad Admirers.” Join renowned speaker John Taibi as he shares his favorite railroad stories in and around the Morrisville area. All are taken from research done while preparing his books and short stories about railroading in central New York.

Join us at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, for a “Magical History Tour of the Village of Morrisville.” Our village and town historian Sue Greenhagen will give us the new and improved Magical History Tour. Get a look at an era gone by through old postcards, pictures and newspaper clippings. See what the glorious places looked like then and now; you will be shocked.

Starting Sept. 6, we will be open again on Saturdays until Memorial Day 2015; we are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
