(Oneida, NY – Sept. 2014) After-school Science at Oneida Public Library on Tuesday Sept. 16, at 4 p.m. has a special program on disaster preparedness in the home presented by Jennifer Weeks-McGohan, a public health educator at the Madison County Health Department.
Whether it’s flood, tornado or hurricane, Weeks-McGohan will address how elementary-school students and their families should react in the face of imminent natural or man-made disaster and what preparations they can make beforehand to survive after disaster strikes.
