(Morrisville, NY – Sept. 30, 2014) The Morrisville State College (9-2, 5-1 NEAC) men’s soccer team won their fifth game in a row against Utica College, Tuesday afternoon. The Mustangs defeated the Pioneers 2-0, with a balanced attack and strong defense.

In the ninth minute of the game, Jamieson McKoy (Bronx, N.Y.) assisted Jeffrey Hado (Ghano) off a one timer from the right side.  The Mustang defense was able to hold the Pioneers for the rest of the half, resulting in a 1-0 score. In the 52nd minute, Alan Peckham recorded his second goal of the season, off another assist form McKoy.

Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.)  finished the day with five saves  and recorded his eighth win for the season.

Morrisville State will travel just down the road to play NEAC opponent Cazenovia College on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
