(Hamilton, NY – Oct. 2014) Volunteers from Colgate’s COVE (Center for Outreach, Volunteerism and Education) pitched in at Community Bikes to help clean and prepare bikes as part of COVE’s Sept. 11 Volunteer Day.
Community Bikes has placed more than 1,700 bikes with families in Madison County who can’t afford one, and is now readying bikes to be sent to two programs for at risk youth in the Caribbean nation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
