(Hamilton, NY – Nov. 2014) The library is a polling place on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Be in the know before you head to the polls. Information about every candidate and elected official from the federal level to state and local governments can be easily and instantly accessed through the Voter’s Self-Defense System at http://votesmart.org/.  This independent online tool allows citizens to search by zip code to find all the candidates up for election in their area, and find out what they’re all about.  Here you’ll find a wealth of information about candidates—voting records, biographical and contact information, issue positions, interest group ratings, public statements, campaign finance information and more.

Additional information about New York State judicial candidates is also available through http://www.nycourts.gov/vote.

As the community room at the library will be used for voting, we have made arrangements to hold our story time on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m. in the community room of the Madison Lane Apartments.  As you enter the apartment complex, look for a teddy bear by the entrance between buildings #2 & #3.  Guest storyteller Joan Ford will meet us there. Many thanks to our friends at Madison Lane Apartments for so graciously welcoming our story time families.
The library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to1pm. Please visit or call the library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
