Under the guidance of instructor Jim Cooke, Arc individuals took photographs of rural Madison County, including (above) “The Red Barns of Madison County” by Penelopy Dillman currently on exhibit at Oneida Library.
(Oneida, NY – Nov. 2014) Through Nov. 29 at the Oneida Public Library, individuals from the Arc of Madison Cortland will display a sampling of their photographs of rural Madison County that they took under the instruction of professional photographer Jim Cooke.
The Arc’s photographers make distinctive and sometimes surprising statements about the farm landscapes of Madison County, often focusing on subjects that the casual observer might ignore. Interested members of the public can meet some of these photographers as well as their instructor at a reception Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 12 from 3 to 5 p.m.
