(Hamilton, NY – Nov. 2014) Many thanks to our friends at Crouse Community Center Adult Day Services and Madison Lane Apartments for so graciously welcoming our story time families over the past few weeks.
It’s been so much to fun to see all the Literary Pumpkins on display; a big pat on the back to all the creative participants who decorated pumpkins to look like favorite book characters. Stop in to see them before the end of this week and vote for your favorite to win a People’s Choice Award.
As Veterans Day draws near, you may want to visit the local history museum inside the library to view the World War II exhibit the Hamilton Historical Commission is displaying. A treasure-trove of artwork and local artifacts awaits you as you pause to consider our local ties to military service.
Feel free to browse and borrow books from our Veterans Day display table in the Fireplace Room, as well. In observance of Veterans Day, the library will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11.
